Providing translations with accuracy and speed since 1995
My name is Massimo Vangelista, and I am an experienced English to Italian translator and localiser specialising in IT and telecommunications.
To date, I have translated millions of words from British and American English into my native Italian.
Although I work from my office near Venice in northern Italy, my business really is an international affair, with my clients being companies and agencies spread out across Europe and the US.
I started working in 1995 as a part-time freelance translator.
The turning point in my career came in 1998 when an important translation company in Milan asked me to localise Microsoft Office 2000 for the Italian market.
It was there that I honed my skills and learnt the tricks of the trade I continue to use in my business to this day. It also gave me the valuable experience of seeing the translation process from a project manager’s point of view.
Today, I provide translation, proofreading, editing, localisation and language consultancy services to help clients establish and maintain a strong position in the Italian market.
By collaborating with a network of trusted colleagues, I can also meet your translation needs in other languages. Please see my FAQ for more information.
As you would expect from any IT translator worth their salt, I have extensive experience with a number of different types of software, including translation and localisation tools, HTML editors and DTP and web authoring programmes.
This means that I handle documents in almost any format you choose to send them in.
Because, let’s face it, life is complicated enough.
